1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the uVPN service ("Service"), website at uvpn.live, or mobile applications, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not use the Service.
2. Description of Service
uVPN provides a virtual private network (VPN) service that encrypts your internet connection and routes it through our servers to protect your privacy and security. The Service is available through our mobile applications and may include both free and paid subscription tiers.
3. Account Registration
To use the Service, you must create an account by providing a valid email address and password. You agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete registration information
- Maintain the security and confidentiality of your account credentials
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
- Accept responsibility for all activity that occurs under your account
You must be at least 18 years of age to create an account and use the Service.
4. Subscription Plans and Payment
4.1 Free Plan
The free plan provides limited access to the Service, including a reduced number of server locations, limited connection speed, and support for one device.
4.2 Paid Plans
Paid subscription plans (Weekly, Monthly, and Yearly) provide full access to all features including premium server locations, unlimited devices, and maximum connection speed. Prices are listed on our pricing page and may change with notice.
4.3 Billing
Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis according to the plan you select. Payment is processed securely through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on each renewal date.
4.4 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No partial refunds are provided for unused time within a billing period.
4.5 License Keys
License keys may be used to activate paid subscriptions. Each license key is single-use and non-transferable once activated. License keys are non-refundable.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes. The following activities are strictly prohibited:
- Engaging in any illegal activity, including but not limited to hacking, fraud, or distribution of malware
- Sending spam, phishing messages, or other unsolicited communications
- Distributing copyrighted material without authorization
- Attempting to interfere with, compromise, or disrupt the Service or its infrastructure
- Sharing your account credentials with others or reselling access to the Service
- Using the Service to engage in any activity that violates the rights of others
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice or refund.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, content, trademarks, and branding, is owned by uVPN and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Service in accordance with these Terms.
7. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described therein.
8. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free
- The results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable
- The Service will meet your specific requirements
While we use a VPN to enhance your privacy and security, no technology can guarantee complete anonymity or protection against all threats.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, uVPN and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, or interruption of service.
Our total liability for any claim arising from the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless uVPN from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.
11. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion if we believe you have violated these Terms. You may also delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately, though provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.
12. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
13. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in the courts of competent jurisdiction.
